Since ING moved their CT offices from Hartford to Windsor in 2007, Maureen has embraced the community of Windsor as a home away from home and has participated in numerous volunteer activities in Windsor. She is a Senior Software Developer in the Retirement Services division of ING with over 27 years of IT experience, having completed various programming and project management certification programs. A life long volunteer, Maureen was the chairperson of the ING Community Partners volunteer team for 5 years, helping to expand the committee and develop new volunteers. She continues to coordinate a number of volunteer events each year at ING as well as acts as senior advisor to the current ING Community Partners board in Windsor. She has also been the "Big Sister" to 17 year old Sarah for the past 8 years through the Nutmeg Big Brothers Big Sisters.
Born and raised in Manchester and a graduate of Manchester High, Maureen attended Data Processing Institute and Manchester Community College for programming and Information Technology. Maureen lives in Manchester with Joe, her husband of 40 years. Together they enjoy traveling as frequently as possible, often with some of their grandchildren in tow. They have two grown daughters and currently 12 grandchildren.
