Since 2001, Bev has been the Manager of Community Relations for ALSTOM Power, Inc. In her capacity she is responsible for distributing corporate contributions to non-profit agencies throughout the Greater Hartford and Western Massachusetts areas whose focus is on education, health & human services, the community and the arts. Bev's responsibilities also involve coordinating employee volunteer activities in the community and the annual Employee Charitable Giving Campaign benefiting the United Way of the Capital Area and the Pioneer Valley (MA) United Way.
Bev has been employed by ALSTOM since 1974 and has held various positions throughout the company in Sales, Finance, Support Services, Medical, and Human Resources.
In addition, Bev serves on the board of Everybody Wins! CT, a reading enrichment non-profit, as the Vice President, and on the Development Committee at Foodshare in Bloomfield.
Bev and her husband, Richard, have resided in South Windsor for the past 13 years. She is also an adult advisor for the Junior Pilgrim Fellowship group at Wapping Community Church. She has one daughter, Samantha, who is currently enrolled at Central Connecticut State University, three stepchildren and five step-grandchildren.
