| Windsor Green Committee - Update - 4/22/08
Hi Everyone,
It's been two weeks since our last Green Committee. Leticia was on the ball with the minutes from our last meeting, but I got delayed in sending them out. (click here to read them in detail)
The meeting was well attended, and a new visitor commented "How long have you been doing this?" It makes sense because we made a lot of progress and there is a lot of enthusiasm in the group.
The Sage Park Recycling competition completed last week on Earth Day. Jonathan did a great job setting it up. We're looking for press opportunities to highlight the group. In a couple of weeks we'll have an award ceremony at the field trip for the winning class. We'll help him present a trophy to the students that filled the most bins with recyclable materials. The Shad Derby Parade is quickly approaching. Larry put together a great booth plan. Please review the notes to see if you have action items. Remember, we'll be having a "show and tell" at our regularly schedule meeting on May 6th to see what we have. (So far this includes the booth, 2 computers, fliers, a "thermometer" sign, etc.) More coming soon.
