The Program Committee is chaired by Ann Parkhurst, School/Business Liaison for Windsor Public Schools. Member Kristen Barbarosa of Johnson Dowe and Brown, LLC, assists Ann in developing each program. Programs are designed to appeal to the broad range of Chamber businesses and their needs and interests.
We welcome input from the Chamber members as to program topics, speaker and locations. Businesses are invited to volunteer to host our monthly Breakfast meetings. This is a terrific opportunity to showcase your business and provide a networking and educational opportunity for the Windsor Business community.
The Program Committee schedules two events each month, a Breakfast and a Business After Hours. Breakfasts are held at hosts’ facilities from 7:30-8:30 and Business After Hours are held either at a host’s facility or at the Chamber office from 6:00-7:30 PM. Hosts provide light refreshments and present a short program highlighting their facility and service or product.
The purpose of the Program Committee is to schedule programs that provide an opportunity to network and to educate the business community about products and services available locally. Committee members receive requests to host the events and schedule the events. Members consider the needs and interests of Chamber members and provide an opportunity for representation of a variety of businesses and geographical areas of town. Program Committee members work with the Membership Committee to recognize new members at events.
Program Committee members assist with hosting and set-up and clean-up at events as needed.
