Tourism Meeting Minutes Friday, April 4, 2008
Here are the minutes from this morning's Tourism meeting and a few additional notes. Please download the attached Red Rose team document. We'll need more volunteers to cover certain tasks, call me at 683-4201 for more info.

Passport to Summer Fun in Windsor
- June 1 - August 31, 2008
- Featuring 'Casual Dining' again this year
- Prizes will be a Computer, a Wii, and a Restaurant Gift package
- Letters are going out to restaurants this week
- Kristin Barbarotta is heading up this project. She'll need some assistance with restaurant follow up and sponsorships
Red Rose Tea Fair
- Nov 8 - 9, 2008
- New list of tasks and volunteer coordinators - download below
- Changes for this year: Friday setup and dinner for vendors only, Welcome dinner moved to Saturday offsite, no Sunday shuttle, Shuttle may be provided by Hilton, Tea party on location, Promote heavily to tea people, Admission to include a special figurine, in addition to the 3rd show special which will be for sale
Theme Trips
- Need to hook up with one or more group tour coordinators to get our trips up and running
- Revise trips as needed for time of year
Windsor 375
- September 2008
- Need to staff the Tourist Info Center weekends in September
- Will help promote in any way we can, put ad in Passport, etc
