Paws For A Cause
Paws for a Cause is a public art benefit for the Windsor Education Foundation (WEF). As a community wide event we encourage participation by all businesses, organizations and individuals.
Sponsors will choose their dog and the artist who will design it. A portfolio of six (6) animals is available from which sponsoring businesses, organizations and/or individuals may select. Once the portfolio of available artists is compiled, you will be able to select the artist for your dog.
Advertise your business with the sponsorship of one of five fiberglass dog forms. Sponsors of the fiberglass dogs are essential to making the event a huge success. Our goal is to have at least 50 dogs featured throughout the town of Windsor.

Windsor Historical Society offers Genealogy Road Show November 1
On Saturday, November 1 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Windsor Historical Society, the Descendants of Founders of Ancient Windsor is sponsoring a group of experienced genealogists who are members of the Connecticut Professional Genealogists Council. They will give individual consultations, help and advice on problems and challenges encountered in the pursuit of genealogy. This Genealogy Road Show is free to all and is offered in memory of Donna Holt Siemiatkoski, first President of the Connecticut Professional Genealogists Council.

Police Explorer Fundraiser
The Windsor Police Explorer Advisors are selling Christmas Wreaths. All proceeds from this sale will go towards an Explorer trip to Veterans Memorial in Washington D.C. Each 22" wreath is $16.50 or 2 for $32. And comes with your choice of a Red or Burgundy bow. Wreaths ordered by Nov. 2 will be in during the 1st week of December.

WCC Board Member Highlight
Bruce Chamberlin was born and raised in Windsor. He attended Windsor Public Schools and graduated Windsor High School in 1979. Bruce has been married since 1985, and along with his wife, Tina is raising two children, a son fifteen and a daughter eleven. Since 1984 Bruce has pursued his career in Document Imaging, and by remaining currently educated in his ever-evolving field, Bruce has become an expert in Color Imaging, Storage, and Processing of office documents. Bruce is well-known and respected in his field for his dedication and profound devotion to the highest level of honest customer service, and satisfaction possible.
