Business Breakfast The Windsor Chamber of Commerce Business Breakfast will take place on Wednesday, September 5 from 7:30 am - 9:00 am at Windsor Physical Therapy located at 555 Day Hill Road.
Tour the host facility, network with other businesses, take a chance on the raffle and enjoy the morning with a light breakfast.
This event is free to Chamber Members, TVCC Members and Metro Hartford Alliance Members. The cost is $5:00 for non members.

Red Rose is Coming! The 2nd Annual Red Rose Tea Fair will take place on November 9 - 11, 2007. Get involved!
Be a Vendor at the Fair! If your business offers Wade figurines or other Wade items, or any kind of Tea - related items, you need to be a vendor at the Red Rose Tea Fair! People are coming from all of the US, Canada, and the UK to buy Wade and Tea items. Be a vendor and sell to them! Learn More
Be a Shuttle Stop during the Fair! If your business targets antique collectors and/or tea lovers, you should be on the Shuttle Stop Saturday and Sunday during the Fair. The shuttle runs both days from the Fair at the Hilton Garden Inn to all shuttle stops and back every half hour. Customers will be piling off the shuttle to shop in your store or eat in your restaurant. One catch! You have to provide a Fair-related special or activity. Windsor Road Race To Benefit Cancer Research Owners, John Ficaro, Tim Fitzgerald, Mike Deneen, and Samir Doshi, of the Union Street Tavern, in Windsor, Connecticut, thought of several different ideas to celebrate their first year of operation since opening in September of 2006. Only one idea rose to the top.a road race through the beautiful and historic area of Windsor Center with proceeds to benefit Alex's Lemonade Stand, a unique foundation that has evolved from a young cancer patient's front yard lemonade stand in Windsor to a nationwide fundraising movement for childhood cancer.

Local Color Art Show & Sale The Windsor Art Center at the Freight House presents LOCAL COLOR art show and sale September 15th thru October 14th. The opening reception is Saturday, Sept. 15, 5-7:30 PM. Oil paintings, watercolors, photography, art furniture, and sculpture will be on display, all pieces by Windsor artists. A raffle prize, an indoor sculpture by Lon Pelton, will go to the winning $5 donation ticket.

Freedom Trail Celebration
|  | | The Connecticut Freedom Trail recognizes the importance of a number of sites throughout the State of Connecticut that are associated with the heritage and movement towards freedom of African Americans.
In celebration of the Connecticut Freedom Trail Month, the following Windsor Freedom Trail events are being held for the community in the month of September.
The Freedom Trail Celebration: Saturday, September 8, 2007 from 11:00a.m. 4:00p.m. This event will be held at Archer Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church, 320 Hayden Station Road, Windsor, which is one of the four Windsor Freedom Trail sites. This will be a day for the community to come together to celebrate Windsor's participation in the Freedom Trail. There will be free food, gospel music, and fun children's games and activities. You and your family will have an opportunity to visit Archer's historic cemetery and learn more about the Church's significance to the Freedom Trail. There will also be information available on each of the Windsor Freedom Trail sites. For more information, call Alfred Narcisse at 860-688-2479.
