|  | | Susan Bysiewicz - Secretary of the State wants to remind residents who did not register that they can still make their voice heard and cast a ballot for President on Election Day. Presidential ballots will be available at town clerks' offices until 8:00 p.m. on Election Day to eligible Connecticut residents who are U.S. Citizens over the age of 18 and not registered to vote. Those wishing to vote by Presidential ballot must provide identification which shows residency in that town and either a photo ID or a government document showing the person's signature. In the past two Presidential elections, use of the Presidential ballot has been quite popular in Connecticut. North Central Square Office of Windsor Federal Savings Holds Official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
|  | | The North Central Square Office of Windsor Federal Savings held their Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Monday, October 27, 2008 at 695 Poquonock Avenue. The new location shares the plaza with Price Chopper and Buffalo Wild Wings in Windsor and is conveniently located right off exit 38 from I-91.
The office, which opened for business on September 29, 2008, is a full service bank offering free checking, free online banking and bill pay and a variety of loan products including reverse mortgages. Conveniences include; two drive-up lanes, drive-up ATM, night depository and is open Monday Wednesday 9 to 6; Thursday and Friday 9 to 7; and Saturdays 9 to 2.

Rays Frame Shop Owner & Artist Receives Awards Rosalie Gustafson, Co-owner of Ray's Frame Shop was awarded the Best in Show at the TVAA Awards for her watercolor on masa paper titled "The Group". Rosalie also was awarded second place at the Tolland Art Festival for her watercolor "The Angry Sea". Stop by Ray's Frame Shop, a quaint shop located at 53 Poquonock Avenue in Windsor to view both Roasalie's and Ray's beautiful work.

Windsor Historical Society Pre Holiday Auction Windsor Historical Society's major fundraiser this year is a festive, pre-holiday auction on November 21, 2008, starting at 7 p.m. in the community room of the Windsor Public Library at 323 Broad Street with wine, cheese, and delectable desserts. Auction committee members have solicited some truly wonderful items from generous individuals and community business people including a week's stay in a charming thatched-roof cottage in Holland.
