Dear Santa
| | | Dear Santa Claus, I am really sorry to bother you, I know you must be really busy, but I thought since you manage to deliver toys and gifts all over the world in just one night, you might be able to help me too. I just don't know HOW I am going to be able to get my holiday shopping done this year. I am not old enough to drive and mom says there is no way she is letting me hang out at the mall by myself. She and dad are way too busy working this year and running the household errands to drive me there. I have been saving my baby sitting money, but there are a lot of people I want to get gifts for so I need affordable gifts that everyone will like. I would really appreciate any advice you can give me.
Best regards,
Virginia Windsor CT
Dearest Virginia, First I want to thank you for keeping the true spirit of Christmas alive, caring about and giving to others. You are indeed a fortunate young lady, most of all because you have so many people you care about and who no doubt care about you too. But also because you live in the wonderful town of Windsor, CT where there are many lovely places to shop throughout the town. I can see by your return address that you live near the center of town and there are many nice shops within walking distance of each other. The Water Closet at 46 Bloomfield Avenue carries a wide variety of popular items including Mrs. Claus' favorite bath and body products. They have candles, scented and unscented, affordable jewelry and a collection of soft nightgowns, pajamas and cozy socks. And so many unique gift items.. Oh I can't take the time to list them all I have to get back to the workshop! Nearby on Route 75 Patties' Treasures has a great collection of jewelry and various treasures from estate sales. Lucinda's has beads and all that is needed to make them into lovely necklaces and bracelets. Oh I am sure I am not remembering all there is to tell but Mrs. Claus is calling and says the elves need help with the candy makers! Psst be sure to check out the full array of shops in Windsor at www.windsorcc.com
Best regards, Santa
