WCC Board Member Highlight Ray Embury - Konica Minolta Business Services
Originally from Michigan, Ray is a 1970 graduate of Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida, He holds a BA in Business Administration. Ray re-located to Connecticut and married his wife of 34 years, Cal in 1974. They have two boys, 23 & 27. Ray began his career in 1974 with the Hartford based Royal Business Machines as a Field Service Technician and in 1981 was promoted to the Windsor corporate headquarters of Konica Business Machines which is now Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. Several job responsibilities later Ray is now the Manager of Community Relations, Office Services and Konica Minolta's in-plant and commercial print provider, the bizhub Image Center. Ray also serves on the Board of Directors of the Windsor Associates Federal Credit Union and Tallwood Men's Club, in Hebron CT.

Concerts On The Green - Tuesday August 12 Maestro Men - 7:00 pm - Tuesday, August 12th The Maestro's Men have been performing together since 1996. They currently have six recording releases. The musicians' unique backgrounds and experience form the heart of the Maestro's Men sound. Their unique sound and arrangements of traditional and original music offer an exciting and entertaining musical variety.

Concert on the Green - Thursday, August 14 The Valley Swing Shift Orchestra has been bringing the big band sounds to New England since 1977. They've performed at weddings, private parties, corporate functions, concerts, fund raisers, and on stage with three different shows.
The band has a library of over 400 arrangements - from traditional big band to contemporary. The Valley Swing Shift has 17 pieces (5 saxes, 4 trombones, 4 trumpets, 4 rhythm) and features a male and female vocalist, and a vocal group.

Movies at the Library This summer in July and August the Windsor Public Library will show an old time classic movie each Tuesday night at 7PM. The theme "Out West and Out of This World" says it all. On alternating Tuesday nights patrons can see an old-time western or sa cience-fiction classic.
