What folks are saying about :
Windsor Chamber of Commerce Thanks for setting up this e-mail letter. I think it's a great way to stay in touch with what's going on. October 2004

Windsor Chamber of Commerce I just wanted to send you and the Chamber team a sincere thank you for arranging such a great time Friday evening at the Windsor Chamber annual meeting. The theme was fantastic, the decorations were great, the food was great, and I really enjoyed myself.
It was truly amazing to see such a motivated and friendly community of business people come together like that. Windsor certainly has an awesome community that appears to be growing all the time. As you know, I'm not a local person, however the whole feel of the event strongly reminded me of my small hometown in Ipswich, MA- and I haven't had that sense anywhere else since moving to Connecticut in 2008.

Windsor Chamber of Commerce Who would have thought that reading a book in a fourth grade class could be so rewarding and so much fun! The time I spent with the students was the highlight of my week. The kids were attentive, enthusiastic and engaged. They asked and answered questions enthusiastically and with good classroom manners. We all thoroughly enjoyed the story and I felt they learned valuable lessons from the book. I also enjoyed sharing my own life experience as it related to the story and felt they listened with sincere interest. Who could ask for anything more?!

Windsor Chamber of Commerce I was here for 14 days and ... I thought the Passport was a great idea. It was fun visiting the local shops and restaurants and I thought the people of Windsor were incredibly kind and thoughtful. Enclosed is my completed passport. Please enter me into the drawing for the Kindle.

Windsor Chamber of Commerce I just wanted to take a minute after all this time to tell you how much I appreciate the "What's Going on in Windsor" email newsletter. It really keeps me in the loop and I have gone to events I probably would have forgotten about if I hadn't been reminded by your update.

Windsor Chamber of Commerce "While attending the 2011 Windsor Chamber of Commerce Annual Auction, my ticket was pulled in the final drawing - $200.00 in Windsor Chamber of Commerce Gift Certificates. Being a busy career gal, wife and mother of two, in this economy I am always looking to save money at home. Where can you cut the most? Your grocery bill.
So my husband and I went one Sunday to our local Geisslers Grocery store in downtown Windsor on Broad Street. We 1st stopped by the service desk to just double check if this program really works. No surprise there, YES - they accept the certificates. Little did they know, Kevin and I went directly to the meat department, filling up our entire carriage with chicken, pork, beef, ham etc.
Regardless of the funny looks, we went about with our shopping experience ending in the check out line. Our sales clerk and on-shift supervisor knew just what to do. Each certificate was processed through their register, which I then signed for and off and away we went home to pack our freezer full of Geissler's fine meats.
Great job Windsor Chamber of Commerce and Great job Geissler's" !!

Windsor Chamber of Commerce I thoroughly enjoyed reading to Ms. Smith's classroom today (Businesses Fueiling Minds Through Books)! The children were so well behaved and inquisitive. I would certainly volunteer to do this again. Thanks for organizing such a worthwhile and motivational get-together.

Windsor Chamber of Commerce I want to send a big "THANK YOU" to everyone who worked so hard to make Sunday's [Mother-Daughter Tea Party] event special. As you know my Granddaughter has special dietary needs and Carol at Bart's Beanery did a great job to accommodate Maia. It was a fun event. We loved the Manners story that Ann Walsh read. The raffle for the American Girl doll was the icing on the cake when Maia's number was called. We look forward to next year's Tea Party!

Windsor Chamber of Commerce I just wanted to drop you a note regarding the "First Thursday" events that we have been participating in with the Chamber. As you might imagine our business slows down a bit over the winter, but on the "First Thursday" nights we have seen, on average, a 75% increase in business and traffic. I originally thought it might not be as drastic an improvement as the weather got warmer, but I was greatly mistaken, evidenced by the numbers we showed on April 1!
Please accept my thanks as a grateful business owner for this program and plan to be a continuing participant in this event

My daughter and son live out of town now, but receive a copy as well as some of their high school friends. Good way to stay connected . I've partaken of many events and would only have known about them from your newsletter. Happy Holidays and thank you again.

Windsor Chamber of Commerce Dear Jane, On behalf of our entire team we are so honored to have participated in this fabulous fund raiser [Windsor Feud]. We had the best time, never have laughed so hard and had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people. For us - to be able to take part in an event that is so well organized and supported by so many members of the chamber - was a breath of fresh air.
You put the fun in fundraising! See you in 2007

PC Development Group, LLC When I went into PC Development Group a few weeks ago to discuss the possibility of buying a new PC, I had no idea what they were capable of doing for me.
I knew that my several year old PC was driving me crazy because it was too slow for me, that it contained software that I wasn't using but didn't know how to delete and that some of my files were not organized the way that I wanted them. I also knew that buying a new PC involved transferring files from my old PC and that would be a time consuming task I didn't want to do myself.
After explaining my problems to one of the friendly staff I told him exactly what I did want. He told me that he could build a PC to my specifications. This would not be a commercial product but their own brand constructed with the components selected for my needs.
I was happy with the price, the quick service, the organization of my files and the SPEED of my new PC!
Honestly anyone in the market for a new PC or who needs work on their old one should check out PC Development Group. I can't imagine why anyone would go anywhere else!

Windsor Chamber of Commerce I am so happy with the way things turned out for me yesterday [at the Aetna Business Expo]. I had a steady flow of people coming to my table, I received 47 contacts from the raffle, 3 people booked a show and there were others who are interested in placing an order...and there were a few people who took information on the fundraiser opportunity because they knew of groups that needed fundraisers! Everything was so well organized and you made the unloading and loading process a breeze. You do such great work year round; the help and exposure that you give to the businesses in town I'm sure is unmatched. Especially given that I have a home based business, it's hard to get my name out there, but I want very much to do so and be successful, so I really appreciate all of the opportunities I have had to be visible through the Windsor Chamber of Commerce. I'm looking forward to the event in October, and I know that the population is different, but I'll just bring different items that may be of interest to the audience. It's really about the exposure for me. So it's all good. You're awesome!!!
