Businesses Fueling Minds Through Books

The Windsor Chamber of Commerce and the Windsor Public Schools are working together again this year to offer you an opportunity to be involved with "Businesses Fueling Minds Through Books" on January 28, 2010.
There are 52 classrooms in grades 1 through 5 at the four Windsor elementary schools. We plan on donating one book to each classroom. If your company chooses to donate a book, your company's name will appear on the inside cover of the book.
We also need volunteers to read the book to a classroom on Thursday, January 28th in the morning.
This year the book chosen for grades 1-3 is "The Adventures of Max and Pinky, Best Buds" by Maxwell Eaton and for grades 4-5 is "2030, A Day in the Life of Tomorrow's Kids" by Amy Zuckerman and James Daly.
This great opportunity allows Windsor Businesses to join a collaborative effort to re-enforce the importance of reading. If you are interested in sponsoring a classroom or reading, please call 860-688-5165 or use the link below to donate one or more books.
