Community Health Resources
You can change, CHR can help! Community Health Resources (CHR) is a non-profit, community-based system of mental health care serving the adults, children and families of northeast and central Connecticut. With offices in Bloomfield, Enfield, Manchester, Mansfield, Vernon and Windsor, CHR is a trusted professional dedicated to providing quality treatment options that embrace individual recovery.
With diminishing public funding, it is increasingly more difficult to meet the need for therapy and treatment services. CHR has strengthened its organizational capacity through strategic planning and put into place sound financial policies that are helping our organization withstand the current economic climate. However, we still need your help. Your auction donation will allow us to continue to provide and enhance mental health assistance to those who need it most. Thank you for your support!

Everybody Wins!
Everybody Wins! CT provides reading programs that engage students encourage leadership and learning inspire a love of reading and build stronger communities.
Everybody Wins! CT is an affiliate of Everybody Wins! USA, a national organization founded in 1991 in New York City by Arthur Tannenbaum. Mr. Tannenbaum wanted to address illiteracy issues among inner-city elementary school children, specifically targeting populations that were at-risk because of poverty, lack of English language skills, and poor academic achievement. Everybody Wins began as five volunteers reading on their lunch hours in one Manhattan school. With affiliates in 16 states and Washington, DC, Everybody Wins has evolved from informal read-aloud sessions to four distinct literacy and mentoring programs: Power Lunch, Readers Are Leaders, Story Time and EW! Book Club.
