Windsor s most exciting benefit auction will begin on Friday, April 3rd at 6:00 PM at Maneeley s in South Windsor with scrumptious hot and cold hors d oeuvres! What could be better than a Friday night full of delicious food, chatting & laughing with friends and colleagues and choosing a few things for yourself? According to Chamber President Paula M. Pierce of Hosting Connecticut LLC, there s always a great selection of items up for bid; truly something for everyone including lawn care services, restaurant gift certificates, fine jewelry, travel packages, and much more.
After snapping up your favorite silent auction items, sit, relax and enjoy some friendly competition in the live auction. If you are lucky, you might win a trip to Tuscany, a deluxe day of pampering, a golf outing, a piece of limited edition artwork, a dumpster rental, some brick pavers, a new computer, a romance package, professional catering, or yard clean-up! This is our silver anniversary, says Jane Garibay, Executive Director of the Windsor Chamber of Commerce. We ve got some exciting, new activities planned for the auction this year. New features include the exhilarating Heads and Tails auction and take-a-chance Silver Surprise Boxes. The surprise boxes go for $25 and most have items valued between $25 and $50 inside. A few will have extra special items valued up to $150!
Plan to bring your family, friends, neighbors, and business associates to share in the fun says Bill Gombert, Auction Committee Chairman. Have fun and support these non-profit organizations: CRIS Radio, Friends of Northwest Park, Windsor Education Foundation, Mary s Place and the Windsor Chamber of Commerce. Tickets are $35.00 each.
