|  | | If you love food and drink, join other foodies on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at the 2nd annual First Town Downtown event "A Taste of Windsor" which will be held at Loomis Chaffee School from 6 -9 pm in the dining hall.
The evening will be filled with a wide variety of appetizers and main dish samplings donated by Windsor's own unique restaurants including Union Street Tavern, Chili's Bar & Grill, Bart's Beanery, Dom's Broad Street Eatery, Windsor 75, Get Baked, Nat Hayden's Real Pit BBQ, Izote, River City Grill, Taste of India, Lily's Catering, Vito's by the Water.
You'll also enjoy a wine tasting by Bert's Spirit Shop and beer tasting by Burnside Brewing. The Trey Wilson Trio will be performing throught the evening. There will also be silent and tea cup auctions throughout the night so you can browse the donated items and get a great deal on some highly sought after gift certificates and other prizes.
Proceeds benefit First Town Downtown events, including the Farmers' Market, Nightmare on Broad Street, the Carol Sing and Torchlight Parade.
