Garden Tour

Following the success of last summer's garden tour, Windsor Historical Society and the Windsor Garden Club plan to team up again to open a selection of gardens to the public on Saturday, July 18th from 10 am to 3 pm.

Here is what one Windsor resident said about last year's garden tour.

"I want to convey how impressed and appreciative I am of the effort.put toward the garden tour this year. These are busy times, and our days are so full of so many tasks and errands that I wondered inwardly if I would go to only a few gardens and then wander off to complete my chores. However, I was surprised and delighted to find that the gardens belonged to such creative, thoughtful and interesting people. .I love that Windsor has so many people who have the imagination and energy to "dress up" their yards, and I enjoyed seeing so many others .also enjoying the tour. It really made Windsor seem more special."

The Windsor Historical Society's museum includes changing and permanent exhibition galleries; a hands-on history learning center for families; a research library and manuscript collection housing Windsor photographs, documents, ephemera, and genealogical materials; a museum shop; and storage for the more than 25,000 objects in the Society's permanent collection.
