Chili Challenge!
| | | The Chamber's annual chili cook-off is held on the Saturday before Columbus Day every year. Each business or individual contestant chooses a theme for their booth and cooks a unique chili recipe.

Saturday, October 10, 2009 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm on the Windsor Town Green.
Join in on the tongue-tingling flavors, toe-tappin' sounds and a good time at the Windsor Chamber of Commerce's Chili Challenge!
Word on the street is that this year's Chili Challenge promises to be the best ever.
Your organization or business can cook up a pot of hot, medium or wild chili!
Samples of delicious hot chili will be available for $1.00 each.
Live music by Sabor a Timba - back by popular demand, and participants dressed in costume to accompany the booth's theme make this a fun and lively family event each fall. The recipes are amazing!
Sabor a Timba takes "Caribe Hispano" and blends it with a touch of jazz. Two trombones, one trumpet, flute /sax, bongo player and singers! "There is always plenty of great tasting chili, great costumes and plenty of family fun at this popular event," said event organizer Lori Hartmann on behalf of the Windsor Chamber of Commerce, "We are extremely excited that so many cooks have agreed to return and we welcome any groups who would like to join in the fun!"
Prizes Prizes will be awarded for Best Chili, Best Booth Showmanship, and People's Choice!
Local businesses, civic groups and creative cooks are encouraged to register in advance for this year's chili challenge on the Windsor Town Green to determine who has the right "hot stuff."
Proceeds benefit Windsor Chamber Education and Community programs like Job Shadowing Day and other programs to help our kids learn what different jobs are like and how the court system works.
