Februay 2009Minutes from the TVCA meeting Feb. 20th, hosted by the Granby Chamber.
In attendance where Greg Heineman (Suffield), Bob Sprout, George Utter (East Granby), Jane Garibay, Paula Pierce (Windsor), Jim Richards (East Windsor), Jon Rechenberg, Marry Anne Guarco, Greg Yost, Roger Voyer (Granby), Eileen Moncrief, Karen Owens(Windsor Locks), Vera Smith-Winfree (Bloomfield)
1. Reviewed and discussed minutes from 1/19 meeting.
2. There was a lot of discussion around TVCA communications and the need to develop a process to get the word out to all TVCA Chamber Members. Paula and Jane shared a copy of their news item, Membership in the TVCA from their website. They asked for updates and requested that each Chamber Member of TVCA send them a copy of their logo and pictures of their President and Administrator. Each Chamber Member will will provide TVCA activites in their web sites.
3. Karen Owens is hosting a BAH with the North Central Chamber.

4. Jon Rechenberg discussed and handed out registration forms for Granby's annual Celebrate Granby In The Park on
June 13, 2009. All TVCA Members are invited to participate.
5. TVCA BAH meeting schedules;
March 18
The Windsor Chamber of Commerce is hosting the March Tobacco Valley Chambers Alliance (TVCA) networking event Wednesday, March 18, at Northwest Park (inside) from 5:30 to 7:30 PM.
Guest speaker will be Jay Wallus from Street Smart.
