March 23 2009- TVCA Monthly Meeting Minutes
Holiday Inn Express EWCC Hosting
Missing: Bloomfield and Granby Chambers
EW Chamber: Next meeting/event held April 16 from 7-8am for networking and
8-9am for Reps. from town to speak. Location to be announced at the end of
the week (anticipates Trolley Museum) -- heat may be an issue
Suffield Chamber: June 18 5:30-7:30pm at Hathaway House, Route 75, 65 Main
Street, Suffield. Will give tours of museum and networking. Plenty of
parking out front.
Windsor Locks chamber: July 17. Huge event at Bradley Bowling Center -
Bradley Airport Family Day - Will do bowling event. Times TBD.
Bloomfield Chamber: October 22 at Cinemas 8 5:30-7:30pm
Granby: September event. Date and location TBD.
May and August are open and without dates/events planned.
Group discussed and agreed that Chamber who HOSTS monthly meeting should
take care of sending out notes/updates to all. Each chamber should be
posting these events on their websites and/or newsletters to inform members.
Next meeting will take place April 20 at 9am in Bloomfield. Windsor will
hold meeting in May and East Granby in June.
Windsor Chamber: Large auction event taking place at Maneeley's Banquet
Facility on April 3rd starting at 6pm.
Large Windsor Locks Chamber & North Central Chamber event April 30th in
Enfield from 5-7pm. Attendees will have questions need to ask/get answered
and once completed, can be entered to win a flat screen TV.
