The Windsor Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors is pleased to announce its new relationship with the MetroHartford Alliance and regional chambers of commerce. Under this new relationship, the Windsor Chamber of Commerce has become a Strategic Partner of the Alliance nad a member of the Alliance's Economic Development Council. We will particpate not only in setting goals for the region but also in the strategies that will be needed to accomplish them.
The MetroHartford Alliance and the MetroHartford Chamber of Commerce have a current membership roster that includes over 1,200 businesses, civic organizations, educational and health care institutions, local Chambers of Commerce, and 34 municipalities. All of these members invest capital and ideas in the Alliance to provide the collective power needed to pursue its mission to ensure that the Hartford region competesas one of the country's premier places for all people to live, work, play and raise a family. To fulfill that mission and to accomplish its ambitious four year goals of job growth, wealth creation, and talent retention and recruitment, the Alliance actively recruits additional members for each of its five categories of investors.
Membership in the Alliance includes (but is not limited to) the
following:
- A listing in the MetroHartford Membership Directory
- Invitations to regional seminars, networking and social events
- Linkage to the MetroHartford Alliance website
- Representation at the state Capital
- Tickets to MetroHartford Alliance programs at membership rates such as "Rising Star" breakfasts
- Plaque noting membership in the MetroHartford Alliance
