Career Outreach Coordinator The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for all activities related to the successful employment of individuals with disabilities. Recruit individuals with disabilities. Coordinate and monitor activities of local disability agencies to support employment. Provide disability-related training and services to distribution center employees. Manage internal coaches and oversee activities of external coaches. Provide support systems in environment to meet special needs of individuals with disabilities. Troubleshoot problems and assess needs in order to provide effective accommodations.
Requirements include: Bachelor's degree and preferably Master's degree in vocational rehabilitation, occupational therapy, assistive technology, special education, psychology of disability or other relevant discipline or comparable experience. Thorough knowledge of TEACCH, structured teaching approach to Autism support is a plus. Knowledge of ADA, FMLA, HIPAA, Medicaid, and Social Security laws as they affect employment of people with disabilities.

Human Resource Generalist This is a hands-on position focusing on employee relations, safety, training design and delivery, disability and worker's compensation. Proven experience in recruiting, policy administration, and benefits are also helpful. Knowledge of distribution/logistics or industrial/manufacturing environments is highly desirable. Knowledge of State and Federal employment laws is essential. PC skills (all MS Office programs and File Maker Pro) and knowledge of Statistical Process Control principles a plus. This challenging position will require the generalist to assume HR tasks as well as learn the basics of distribution operations management.
Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and/or a HR Certification, plus a minimum of two years of HR generalist experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
Must be able to work a flexible work schedule, as rotation with 2nd & 3rd shifts will be needed.

Recruiter Alstom - The primary focus for this position will be on college recruiting, as follows: Work with business unit heads to identify colleges to be targeted for Fall and Spring college recruiting (new grad, internships and co-ops). Coordinate college schedules for career fairs, interviewing sessions, etc. and who will be attending events. Coordinate with other ALSTOM groups/sectors on college schedules. Attend fairs and participate in interviews. Develop relationships with targeted colleges. Coordinate table displays, handout materials, etc. Follow-up on second interviews, extend offers and coordinate start dates. Coordinate applicant flow. Track and analyze recruiting statistics. Travel (30-40%) throughout the U.S. to attend career fairs, interviewing and relations activities. Develop and coordinate internship/Co-op program(s) for Power Sectors Participate in the ALSTOM University Relations Network Drive the UR message and coordination through the US University Relations Network Serve as the liaison between the US University Relations Network and the Group University Manager in Paris, France Manage the US URN budget Travel to and communicate with Key Universities Global travel several times a year Serve on global teams and projects as necessary The second function, in conjunction with college recruiting activities, is to work on various projects and other recruiting needs. Typical duties/responsibilities for human resources may include, but are not limited to, the following: Assist managers and other HR Staff to evaluate various options and achieve solutions/process improvement. Inform managers of new recruitment initiatives and coordinate their introduction and implementation. Work with line groups, human resource representatives and other staff to develop and implement positive human resource initiatives and to increase customer satisfaction. COMPLEXITY OF TASKS: Requires general understanding of human resource operations and related regulations. Requires ability to analyze and resolve human resource issues and communicate effectively with supervisors and other staff. TYPICAL QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource administration or related field Minimum of 5 years of HR/recruitment experience Some recruiting experience is required. Strong project management skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and use of various software programs required. Proven ability to work both individually and with a team Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
