How to Recycle ... Printer Cartridges and Cell Phones
Bring your old cell phones and used printer cartridges to the Windsor Chamber of Commerce for recycling... and help raise funds for the community.
By collecting used printer cartridges and cell phones, the Windsor Chamber of Commerce is generating additional dollars for Connecticut school programs such as arts, music, drama, athletics, libraries, computers and other activities, as well as its own business and community programs.
"The Windsor Chamber of Commerce is committed to helping our schools flourish," said Paula M. Pierce, Vice President of the Windsor Chamber of Commerce. "Energizing recycling programs in schools will also help educate the next generation on the environmental importance of recycling."
Everyone is invited to bring their used inkjet and laser jet printer cartridges and old cell phones to the Chamber for recycling. And business members are invited to sign up as additional drop-off locations for the program. Supplies will be provided free of charge.
Drop off Locations: Windsor Chamber of Commerce, Broad Street, Windsor Windsor Federal Savings in Day Hill Shoppes, Windsor Windsor Board of Education, LP Wilson, Matianuck Ave, Windsor Windsor High School, Sage Park Road, Windsor
Periodically, the cell phones and printer cartridges are picked up, sorted, and recycled by the America's Schools Recycling program. The proceeds are split between the Chamber and the Connecticut's schools.
