Tips:
1. Print your advisory on letterhead
2. Try to keep the advisory to one page
3. Email for fax to media contacts 1 - 2 days prior to the event
4. Follow up with media via phone to determine interest in covering the event.

WHO: Organization sponsoring/hosting the event, who sis involved, any noteworthy individuals (12 pt)
WHAT: Describe what the event is
WHERE: List where the event is taking place; be specific. List directions if necessary to make it easy for the media to find and attend. Directions can be included in "Details".
WHEN: Describe the purpose, why the event is occuring; why it's of interest to the media
DETAILS: List any background information on your organization, if pertinent. Mention possible photo opportunities. List web site address.
