February Vacation Week Break for Mom

The Windsor Art Center is offering a special vacation week program for kids 3 and half to 8 years of age with artist and author Virginia Anderson. Bring the kids for a morning of creative fun. Children will become actors, musicians and artists as Anderson tells them the story of 'The Flying Phlox'. They will enter into a garden of delight as Phlox takes them on an amazing journey. They will see and hear the garden come alive with the sounds of flowers singing and bees buzzing. Brighten up the winter with this engaging story about spring. Children will participate in the storytelling with musical instruments, and afterwards have fun creating their own flying phlox. Anderson will be available for a book signing after the program. Snack will be provided. Cost for the program is $5/per child. Participation is limited and registration is required.
