It's a summertime tradition! On Saturday, July 24, The Ellsworth Memorial Association's annual Ice Cream Social---featuring Arts, Crafts, Antiques and Collectibles---on the beautiful lawn of Ellmwood, the Oliver Ellsworth Homestead at 778 Palisado Avenue in Windsor. Come early for breakfast and enjoy pancakes hot off the griddle. Cruise the lawn to see and purchase unique arts, crafts, antiques and collectibles. Visit Abigail's fresh baked goods stand for a take-home treat for the ramily. Stay for lunch of sizzling hot dogs and hamburgers. And---all day long---treat yourself to ice cream! Big scoops of ice cream topped off with your choice of chocolate, strawberry or butterscotch sauce and dollops of whipped cream and sprinkles. What more could you ask for on a hot summer day! And before you leave--be sure to visit the Homestead for a guided tour Free admission and parking on the grounds.
