The Windsor Palette & Brush Club opens its Fall season on Tuesday September 9, with an oil painting demonstration by Jan Dagenhart. The well known Windsor artist will paint a local outdoor scene. For 23 years Jan was the painting instructor at Loomis Chaffee School, and she continues to teach small classes and encourage new artists. Jan has been actively involved in the arts all her life, studying at the University of Hartford, University of Connecticut, Hartford Community College, Wesleyan University, and Bennington College.

The event takes place on Tuesday, September 9 from 7:15 to 9:30 PM at the L.P. Wilson Community Center, The demonstration is free and open to everyone. Refreshments will be served. For more information call 292-1988.

Future art demonstrations, on the 2nd Tuesday of each month will feature a colored pencil demonstration by Susan Tait Porcaro October 14 and tempera painting by Laura Eden on November 18.
