Event:Come Home to Windsor Reunion
Date:September 28th, 2008
Time:12:00 PM
Location:Oliver Ellsworth Homestead
Contact:Dick Roberts, 869428-2172
The Descendants of the Founders of Ancient Windsor' "COME HOME TO WINDSOR" REUNION will be held Sunday, September 28, noon - 4:00 p.m. at the Oliver Ellsworth Homestead. Make your plans now to join "cousins" from all over the country while celebrating Windsor's 375th birthday and DFAW's 25th Anniversary! This event will be open by pre-registration to DFAW members as well as anyone else with an interest in Ancient Windsor. There will be prizes for oldest and youngest persons present, the person coming the greatest distance, the person with the same name as a Founder, the person with the most lines to a Founder, and more! We plan to have a display of photographs and other memorabilia highlighting our 25 years and encourage you to bring something to display at our "Memory Table" (see page 4). Family societies with a connection to Ancient Windsor are also invited to request exhibit space (see page 4). By popular demand, we'll have our traditional meal from Kane's, complete with the famous squash bake. The information below is shared for your advance planning. Please see the separate first class mailing which will include the program registration form.

Luncheon Buffet: Stuffed pork, butternut squash bake, roasted red potatoes, herbed green beans and/or applesauce, rolls/butter, garden salad with ranch dressing, birthday cake
