Spirituals and Gospel Music in Honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Christ the King Lutheran Church,
465 Park Avenue, Windsor,
Connecticut,
would like to announce that the choir of
Phillips Metropolitan Christian
Methodist Episcopal Church, Hartford, Connecticut,
will present Spirituals and Gospel Music
in honor of The Rev'd Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.,
on Saturday, January 16, 2010, at 6:30 PM.
The public is cordially invited to attend.

The evening will begin with a Pot Luck Dinner,
held at 5:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall,
on the lower level of Christ the King
Lutheran Church. Following that the choir
will present its program in the Sanctuary
(upper level) at 6:30 PM.

Because seating is limited for the dinner,
please call 860-741-8157 or 860-697-6364
to reserve a seat and let us know what dish
you would like to bring.

Even if not attending the dinner,
the public is invited to attend the
choral program at 6:30 PM. A free-will offering
will be accepted to help pay the expenses of
Phillips Metropolitan Christian Methodist
Episcopal Church choir in presenting the program.
Reservations are not required for the choral
program.
