Spring Art Exhibit at Town Hall, Opening Reception

Members of the Windsor Palette and Brush Club will display their current art works, including oils, watercolors, pastel, mixed media, drawings, collage, and photography at the Windsor Town Hall from March 28 through April 30. This Spring 2010 Art Exhibit opens with a free Public Reception Sunday afternoon March 28 from 2-4 p.m. in the Town Council Chambers.

Approximately 75 works by about 40 local artists will be on display in the lower level corridors of the Town Hall located on the Green in Windsor Center. After the March 28 reception, the Spring Exhibit can be viewed anytime Monday through Friday during Town Hall business hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., or whenever there is an evening meeting there.

The Windsor Palette and Brush Club was organized in 1960 and is now sponsored by the Town of Windsor's Department of Recreation and Leisure Services. In addition to its Spring and Fall exhibits, the club hold free monthly artist demonstrations at the L.P.Wilson Community Center. It is open to anyone interested in art.
