The First Church in Windsor

Built in 1794, the present building is the fourth for this congregation, but the parish itself is the oldest in the US, having been "gathered" in Plymouth, England in 1630 before its founding members set sail for the New World. The Palisado Cemetery (behind First Church) contains Connecticut's oldest marked gravesite (1644) and other of Windsor's earliest settlers. Visitors are welcomed.
