Windsor's Economic Development Committee "Green" Business BreakfastThe Town of Windsor Economic Development Commission and the Windsor Chamber of Commerce are cosponsoring an event that is intended to strengthen the connection/communication between the town and its employers and to promote an understanding of sustainable business practices in Windsor.
We will invite the managers of Windsor businesses to hear about the experiences of businesses that have instituted sustainable practices. We will also provide an opportunity to hear from Daniel Esty, the new Commissioner of the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection, about his vision for sustainability in the state.
We're looking for business people that may be interested in attending, participating or even having a table to promote their "Green" business to be held in late May or June at the Marriott in Windsor. Town Manager Peter Souza will also speak at event.
Anyone interested in participating can contact Elliot Sirota directly (call 860.688.7226 or email elsells1005@gmail.com) or just provide their business information so we can officially invite them to the event. No cost is involved to attend or participate.
