Lawmakers to discuss Windsor Train Station Area Development - Local stop critical to New Haven-Springfield lineWindsor's legislative delegation State Representatives Peggy Sayers, David Baram and Elaine O'Brien will join House Speaker Christopher G. Donovan (D-Meriden) and local officials at the town's train station (41 Central Street) Friday, February 25 at 2:00 PM to celebrate today's approval by the State Bond Commission of available funding for station area development for the future New Haven-Hartford-Springfield high speed rail line.
The lawmakers will discuss the benefits of having Windsor as a major station stop along the planned commuter train.
