If Walls Could Talk - A New Season on HGTV
Does your historic home have a story to tell?

HGTV's "If Walls Could Talk" is coming to Windsor and the surrounding areas to film homeowners who have made surprising discoveries while they were moving in and fixing up their homes. Their finds range from old letters and photos to art, books. even toys and clothing that all add up to the story of their home's past. The owners will tell their stories and share the history with our viewers.

If your home has a story to tell or you know about one that does, please send an e-mail to Jason Mercado at jmercado@highnoonentertainment.com with "Connecticut" casting call" in the subject header or call 303-712-3109. Thank you Windsor!

Calling All Windsor Baseball Collectors
On Saturday, August 18 at 2 p.m., Windsor Historical Society is hosting baseball lover and historian Roger Kolb who will talk about New England's major leaguers from history like Windsor's Moe Drabowsky who first played baseball at Loomis, then went on to play with seven major league teams including the Cubs, the Orioles, and the White Sox. We'd like to amplify this program with displays of local baseball memorabilia gloves, bats, cards, pennants, autographs and more. Please call Christine Ermenc or Liz Hoffman at 688-3813 if you would be willing to display your baseball collections on a 6 foot table for the public to see on Saturday, August 18 from 1-4 p.m. You must provide someone to stay at your table during this time.
