Art & Soul Kids The 2nd annual Kids Shopping Day at Art and Soul Gallery was a great success! For this special holiday event owner, Lisel Crowley, puts together a special selection of handmade art gifts that are all priced under $10 so that kids can come in and pick out lovely, useful gifts for friends and family that are priced under $10. This year's selection includes a wide array of handmade beaded bookmarks, angel earrings, beaded snowflakes and more.

Geisslers Donates 10% of Receipts to Local Causes! Geissler's Supermarkets will donate 10% of all receipts turned in to the Windsor Education Foundation and the Oliver Ellsworth Playgound Fund. The purchase must be a minimum of $35, will not include alcohol or cigarettes and must not be more than 6 months old.
If your weekly grocery bill comes to $100....it will be like donating $10 to these organizations. That is $520 a year!!
Please write on your receipt OE (Oliver Ellsworth) or WEF (Education Fund) and drop off or send your receipts to:

Santa to Visit Windsor Businesses Dr. Curry will be sponsoring the 11th annual 'Visit with Santa' on Saturday December 15th from 11:00am until 1:00pm at the Wilson Fire Department. United Personnel Named to Top 100 Woman-Led Business in MA A major research study released today by Babson College and The Commonwealth Institute finds that woman-led businesses in Massachusetts are strong engines of economic growth, consistently outperforming national and state growth rates for each of the six years that the study was conducted.

WIN-TV Board Elections Don't miss the WIN-TV Board meeting on Tuesday Dec 11 at LP Wilson Community Center located at 599 Matianuck Avenue at 7:00 PM. The Board has unanimously supported a slate that includes Larry Jaggon, Lenford Lawes, Elliott Sirotta, Paul Vagnini and Steve Washer. WIN TV needs community support to continue on a path of growth. In the past year there has been much progress with the following accomplishments: --Set up an accounting system --Put aside money in a CD --Hired part time office help --Developed a new website --Became involved in the community - Float in the Shad Derby Parade and developed Project Send Hometown Windsor To The Troops --Began classes to train the public --Purchased new equipment --And more importantly - the board is working together with a focus on what is good for the TV Station. Please come and exercise your right to vote. ID is required.
