Businesses Fueling Minds Through Books

Businesses Fueling Minds Through Books
The Windsor Chamber of Commerce and the Windsor Public Schools are working together again this year to offer you an opportunity to be involved with "Businesses Fueling Minds Through Books" on March 15, 2012.

There are over 65 classrooms in the grammar schools. Each year we donate a book to each classroom. If your business chooses to donate the cost of a book, your company's name will appear on the inside cover of one book. You can donate the cost of as many copies as you like and your company name would be inscribed in as many as you fund.

Your company would also have the option of sending a volunteer to read the book to one of the classrooms on the morning of March 15, 2012. The committee has chosen the following books for this year's program:
1st Grade - A Sick Day for Amos McGee
2nd Grade - Detective Dinosaur
3rd Grade - Officer Buckle and Gloria
4th Grade - The Sandwich Shop
5th Grade - Owen and Mzee

This great opportunity allows Windsor Businesses to join a collaborative effort to re-enforce the importance of reading. If you are interested in sponsoring a classroom or reading, please call 860-688-5165 or use the link below to donate one or more books.
