Here is the schedule for the Fair and related activities put on by local and Fair businesses:
Friday, Nov. 6 (vendors only) (Hyatt)
3:00 - 6:00 pm: Vendor Setup
A nice relaxing stretch of time to get your booth set up.
6:00 - 7:00 pm: Vendor Meet & Greet Dinner
Vendors, after you settle into your room, come down to the restaurant and enjoy dinner (antipasto and lasagna) and good company, courtesy of the Chamber of Commerce.
7:00 - 9:00 pm: Vendor Setup
This is it! Time to get your booth(s) all set up for the crowds on Saturday and Sunday!
Saturday, Nov. 7
10:00 am - 3:00 pm: Windsor Wade Fair (Hyatt)
Enjoy browsing and buying your favorite Wade figurines and other pieces including a good selection of Wade Ireland. Get a show special Wade piece especially made for this show, and you might be lucky enough to win a LE 25 or LE10 colorway of the show special presented by Happy Wade-ing every hour of the show!
And enjoy complimentary tea and scones from the Beanery!
12:00 noon - 1:30 pm: Romantic Tales & Tea Luncheon
Windsor Historical Society and Windsor Woman's Club are hosting a luncheon on Saturday, November 7 from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m, proceeds to benefit the WWC Scholarship Fund and the Society's public programming. Enjoy delicious, fancy, and filling luncheon sandwiches; sweets, and Red Rose teas. Silver, china, and festive table settings will add to your pleasure. Then listen to some fascinating local tales from storyteller Steve Carter - including a romantic story based on true events in the region, a ghost story, and a humorous story detailing the hazards of travel before road improvements of the 20th century. Come into everyone's favorite Fair Shop and find a wonderful selection of Wade figurines, antiques, jewelry and everything else you can imagine! Patti's will be offering 30% off jewelry and free goodies and tea! Enter the raffle to win a great prize! 73 Poquonock Ave.
8:00 pm - 10:00 pm: Collectors' Meet & Greet (Hyatt)
Free Collectors Meet at Greet in the fair hotel. Come and win Gold Poodles and other fabulous Wade prizes! Bring your own drinks, snacks and Wade stories to share with your fellow collectors. There will also be a one-of-a-kind Wade poodle to win!
