This annual festival includes lots of activities throughout the season, culminating in the Road Race and Parade on Shad Derby Day!
Come for lots of food, fun, crafts booths, and more!

The Windsor Jaycees are proud to sponsor the 2008 Shad Derby Parade; we have been organizing the Parade since 1971. This event is the culmination of the Shad Derby Festival, which brings thousands of people to Windsor each year.
The 2008 Shad Derby Festival Green and Parade activities will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2008. The Parade will leave Windsor High School at 12:30, march down Capen Street to Broad Street and be at the Town Green at 1:00 pm.
Last year we had 34 groups marching in the parade, we hope to have about that number again this year. If you would like to inquire about parade participation please contact the Windsor Jaycees via email parade@windsorjaycees.com.
