Windsor's own non-profit Connecticut Concert Ballet presents The Nutcracker. Three performances will be held at Windsor High School, 50 Sage Park Road, on Saturday, December 12 (2 p.m. and 7 p.m.) and Sunday, December 13 (2 p.m.). The production will highlight Connecticut Concert Ballet's talented local students alongside professional dancers from the Island Moving Company, Newport RI's resident dance company.
Ticket Information: Preferred Front & Center Seats $28, General Admission $22, Students/Seniors $15, ages 4 and under $10. Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. The former Northern Connecticut Ballet based in Windsor merged with the Connecticut Concert Ballet in 2007 on the retirement of NCB's founder Helen Stevenson. CCB Artistic Director Wendy Fish-Lawrence began her dance career with Helen at the Northern Connecticut Ballet as a scholarship student and was chosen with her husband David Lawrence to lead NCB on Helen's retirement.
