Design Professionals Hires New Director of Surveying

Design Professionals, (DPI) Inc., a Connecticut-licensed engineering and land surveying corporation headquartered in South Windsor, Connecticut, has hired Lawrence (Larry) R. Geissler, Jr. as Director of Surveying. Mr. Geissler is a land surveyor registered in CT, MA, and RI. He holds a degree in Forestry/Land Surveying from Paul Smith College; serves on the Board of Directors of the Connecticut Association of Land Surveyors; is Vice-Chairman of the Vernon (CT) Conservation Commission; and is a member of the National Society of Professional Surveyors.
Peter DeMallie, DPI President said "We are fortunate to find a Director of Surveying with the depth and range of experience of Larry Geissler. He has over 30 years in the surveying field where he assumed increasing responsibilities for survey, project management, and GPS technology. He brings knowledge and enthusiasm to his new position."
Design Professionals Inc. has participated in more than 2,000 projects in over 120 communities within the State of Connecticut. The company's sixteen-person staff consists of civil and traffic engineers, land surveyors, planners, gis/gps analysts, and landscape architects.
