Design Professionals Sponsors National Trigonometry Contest

Design Professionals, (DPI) Inc., a Connecticut-licensed engineering and land surveying corporation located in South Windsor, Connecticut, is both local and state sponsor for the Trig-Star National Contest of the National Society of Professional Surveyors. As a long-time sponsor, DPI annually supports this competition in the practical application of trigonometry. This year South Windsor High School student Christopher Kramer is the statewide winner. He now goes on to the national competition. Peter R. DeMallie, DPI President presented the award and cash prize to Christopher at a recent South Windsor High School awards ceremony.
The National Society of Professional Surveyors promotes excellence in the mastery of math; honors students who demonstrate superior skill; acquaints students with the use and practical applications of math in the surveying profession; and builds awareness of surveying and mapping as a profession.
Design Professionals, Inc. has participated in more than 2,000 projects in over 120 communities within the State of Connecticut. The company's sixteen-person staff consists of civil and traffic engineers, land surveyors, planners, gis/gps analysts, and landscape architects.
