Design Professionals, Inc. (DPI), a South Windsor-based multi-disciplinary consulting firm, has relocated its offices across town to the 425 Sullivan Avenue Business Center, a 100,000 square feet South Windsor office building owned by The Hurley Group. DPI signed a multi-year lease for over 6,000 square feet of space, representing a net gain of 2,000 square feet in the transaction. The landlord was represented by Jay Wamester of Colliers Dow & Condon, and the tenant was represented by David Murdock of Sentry Real Estate, both of Hartford.
Founded in 1986, DPI has participated in more than 2,000 land development projects in over 120 communities. The company's seventeen-person staff provides civil and traffic engineering, site planning, land surveying, gis consulting, and landscape architectural services.
Peter R. DeMallie, DPI's chief executive explained: "The move to larger and upgraded offices enables the firm to continue its planned growth in services, personnel and market-area. Targeted service growth includes landscape architecture and traffic engineering. Recent personnel moves include the appointment of Lawrence R. (Larry) Geissler Jr., L.S., Director of Surveying. The firm intends to begin offering services in the Springfield, Massachusetts market in the near-term."
