Free 10-Week Training for the Ab Crunch Challenge Begins
National Fitness Challenge To Benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
WHAT: This January, rather than going with a standard work out program to fulfill your New Year's resolution to get fit, Lady of America Fitness Centers are challenging you to choose an exercise program that both benefits your waistline and helps others in need. Ladies Workout Express of Windsor located at 186 High Street (Off Route 75), in Windsor CT invites you to train for the national Ab Crunch Challenge taking place on Saturday, March 29, 2008. The fitness challenge, being held at over 200 Lady of America, Ladies Workout Express and Work Out Express locations across the country, is expected to raise $1 million for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
WHO: Ladies Workout Express members and non-members alike may participate in a free 10-week training, beginning in January, to build up strength and endurance to perform stomach crunches for one hour straight on the day of the Ab Crunch Challenge. Whether a beginner just starting out on a new exercise program or a fitness buff looking to help a worthy cause, the ab crunch training classes will improve your core fitness and get you ready to crunch your abs!
While there is no cost to participate in the ab crunch classes, Ab Crunch Challenge participants will raise money for St. Jude by recruiting friends, family members and co-workers to sponsor them in their effort. These funds will help St. Jude in its ongoing fight against childhood cancer and other catastrophic diseases.
