The 2nd annual Kids Shopping Day at Art and Soul Gallery was another great success! For this special holiday event owner, Lisel Crowley, puts together a special selection of handmade art gifts that are all priced under $10 so that kids can come in and easily afford lovely, useful gifts items for their friends and family. This year's selection included a wide array of handmade beaded bookmarks, angel earrings, beaded snowflakes and more.
"It's a lot of fun choosing the Christmas items each year for the kids' selection," says Crowley, the creative genius behind Art and Soul. "And it's great to see the look on their faces when they find that special gift for their Mom, Dad or best friend."
They also have a "Beading Station" available daily so those feeling a little creative can come in and make their own jewelry and gifts for the holidays.
Art and Soul is open seven days a week in December to make it easy for customers to come in at their convenience.
Art and Soul Gallery is located at 945 Poquonock Ave, in front of Price Chopper. Arts classes are scheduled throughout the year in all types of media for all skill levels from beginner to advanced, including precious metal clay, fused glass, and more.
