Want to help out with the biggest graduation party in town? On TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 6, planning will begin for "Project Graduation", Windsor High School's alcohol- and drug-free party for the Class of 2008 to be held on graduation night in June. The planning meeting will begin at 7 p.m. in Windsor High School's Cafeteria. The purpose of Project Graduation event is to keep the graduates together in town, and provide a night and early morning filled with dancing and entertainment without the presence of alcoholic beverages or drugs, organizers say.
Nineteen years ago, a group of parents, teachers and administrators created Windsor's first safe graduation party. Since that time, local civic and professional organizations, businesses, booster clubs, school groups, religious organizations, and concerned individuals have helped make the annual program a terrific success.
All Windsor residents are welcome to attend the November 6 meeting. For more information about Windsor High School's Project Graduation, call Rosemary Gallant at (860) 683-2031.
