What You Get For The Money

How much did you pay for your house? Did you ever wonder what the same money could buy in Miami, Chicago, Austin, or Manhattan? Choose a target price -$200,000, $300,000, $500,000 or $1 million - and find out what you can get in housing markets from coast to coast. That's the focus of the program, What You Get For The Money, a series airing on both Fine Living and HGTV. And we are looking for homeowners in Connecticut to feature on the show!

In each episode we meet three homeowners in three different cities with only one thing in common - the price of their homes. We might visit a studio apartment in San Francisco that costs the same as a six-bedroom mansion in San Antonio, or a Chicago fixer-upper equal in value to a beautiful suburban home in Atlanta. Each show also will feature realtor showings of homes for sale in other cities that share the same cost. As every realtor will tell you, it's location, location, location, and zip code makes all the difference.

We are searching for homes valued between $200,000 and $1 million to feature on What You Get For The Money. The owner(s) should be outgoing and comfortable being on camera and talking about the value of the home. The houses can be of any architectural style, but the interiors should be clean, stylish, and "magazine-ready." The style can be as modern as Dwell or as eclectic as Metropolitan Home, House & Garden, and House Beautiful

If you think your house is a good match for the show, contact Keri Grogan at 303-712-3302 or email at kgrogan@highnoonentertainment.com to have your home considered for the program.

What You Get For The Money compares house prices and lifestyle choices, and you'll discover why homeowners pay what they do for the house and lifestyle they want. It's all a trade-off: big city or small town, new home or old, downtown loft or three-acre rural retreat.

What You Get For The Money is produced by High Noon Entertainment, a leading provider of unscripted programming. For the 2005-2006 season HNE will deliver more than 500 episodes of its programs to various networks, including ABC Family, Discovery, Food Network, HGTV, DIY, Fine Living, Animal Planet, and Style Network.
