Psychology and Social Work
APRN Provide direct clinical services to clients, including psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, ongoing treatment and medication reviews. Maintain positive working relationships with community health organizations and outside medical services to ensure coordination of client care. Participates in case conferences/consultations, as required internally, and participate in those initiated by payers. Additional duties and responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS CT License (APRN), & DEA prescription approval; Extensive experience performing diagnostic assessments and managing SPMI clients at risk; Experience managing medications for SPMI clients; Consultation skills; 5+ years experience in adult psychiatry. Community mental health experience preferred.

EMPS/ Child Clinician Provides clinical outpatient assessment and treatment services to young adults with wide range of emotional disorders, mental illness and substance abuse problems, using brief/focused treatment; Assesses for appropriate level of care, length and type of treatment, and provides individual, group and family therapy and treatment services, as appropriate and consistent with payors and agency clinical standards and guidelines; Manages all administrative requirements related to caseload, including all required record keeping and other documentation consistent with program and agency policy and standards and all necessary transactions with insurance and managed care companies;
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS In-depth knowledge of adult clinical/psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, risk assessment, crisis management, individual/group/family therapy, in brief treatment modality; In-depth knowledge of treatment services in acute & maintenance models, of clients with major mental illness; Ability to provide case formulation and develop focused, goal oriented treatment plans, related to client's treatment readiness or development level, and problem identification; Familiarity with psychotropic medications; Ability to articulate treatment needs, collaborate, make appropriate referrals, and interface with numerous other providers; Knowledge of DBT skills Masters degree required and LCSW or other license to practice psychotherapy in State of CT preferred;

Mobile Crisis Clinician 40 hours a week (some evenings & weekends required) Provides face-to-face risk assessments and brief structured interventions to individuals experiencing situational or psychiatric crisis, in the most appropriate community based settings. Engages clients to utilize available skills and efficacy-based treatment resources. Serves as screener for local state facility. Facilitates hospital admissions & admissions to Respite, PHP or AOP, as appropriate. Serves as liaison to local police. Participates in Multi-disciplinary Team meetings and Risk Management meetings. Beeper coverage required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Demonstrated skill & knowledge in: clinical risk assessment; mental status assessment; mental illness diagnostic criteria; state commitment laws. Solid assessment skills, diagnosis and treatment; risk assessment, and crisis intervention. Minimum two years crisis assessment/management. Able to work independently in various community environments with minimal structure. Masters degree, LCSW, LPC, or LMFT required. LCSW preferred. Driver's license required. Bilingual candidates encouraged.
