Inside Sales Representative E07153 ALSTOM Power Inc., a world leader in the supply of power generation services and equipment is looking for an energetic and assertive individual to join our Power Service Parts organization located in Windsor, Connecticut.
Our ideal candidate should have: A Bachelor's degree in an engineering or business with technical experience or a combination of trade school with related experience. Seeking manufacturing or design background, with exposure to engineering or shop drawings; knowledge of pricing structures helpful. The ability to travel domestically - approximately 15%. Strong interpersonal skills to achieve cooperation and reach agreement with customers, suppliers and internal ALSTOM departments. Motivation and the willingness to learn commercial and technical information in an expeditious manner. Aptitude and experience to manage milestones on multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to resolve and communicate corrective action of nonconforming products. Possess good time management skills and work with little supervision. An ability to evaluate and solve both routine and complex problems and to cost effectively meet tight schedules while ensuring customer satisfaction. Knowledge of MS Office programs with the aptitude to learn additional software packages. The legal right to live and work in the United States. Responsibilities include quotation/proposal development and order execution activities as well as customer and product administration associated with the supply of boiler replacement parts for domestic and international markets. Develop quotations/proposals in response to customer requests utilizing established processes, procedures and experience of existing staff. Order execution to include the management of key milestones, facilitate communication between supplier and key customer contacts, and follow project through to completion utilizing established processes and procedures. These responsibilities are required on multiple projects running concurrently.
