B & B Knitting Weekend

Creative Fibers is heading back to the Chesterfield Inn for another relaxing knitting weekend. And this year we are adding an optional Thursday overnight for those of you who want to stretch out the time away from home.

It is a wonderful opportunity for knitters (and crocheters) to gather in a beautiful New Hampshire setting.

Plan to relax, make new friends, learn new skills and enjoy the delicious food and tranquil setting.
The inn is located just a little over one hour from the shop in southeastern NH and is an easy drive.
Fifteen charming bedrooms (with queen or king bed) are filled with antique furnishings along with modern bathrooms. A spacious living room area with comfortable seating adjoins a top notch dining room.

The fun begins Friday afternoon after 3pm when you begin to arrive and settle in. Our traditional light dinner is served at 7pm after we've gathered together and meet one another.

Saturday morning you will enjoy a hearty country style breakfast before heading off to the morning session.
We will have a learning project for those of you who like to explore something new. Or you may choose to knit with others on a project you have brought along. Maybe you just need some quiet time to explore the inn surroundings.

We'll enjoy lunch including our traditional favorites and then relax, knit, take a walk, snack on fresh baked cookies and knit the afternoon away.

Early in the evening we join in the living room for a glass of wine or cocktail before sitting down to a delicious dinner. By now, relaxation has penetrated our souls, discussions become lively and even more knitting occurs.

Following a leisurely breakfast on Sunday, we will gather to say goodbye to our inn hosts. But the weekend hasn't ended yet. Traditionally the group heads to Northampton for a little shopping and a bite of lunch and then many return to the shop before heading home. We just don't want the weekend to end.
If you would like to start the weekend early, check-in begins Thursday after 3pm and includes lodging, Thursday dinner, Friday breakfast and lunch, all tips and taxes.

The Details:

All rooms have a queen or king bed and private baths.
The retreat weekend price covers two or three nights lodging, five or eight meals, non-alcoholic beverages,
snacks, guest instructors, activities, all taxes and gratuities.

Note: if you are sharing a room, payment in full by both individuals is required prior to the room assignment being made.

The retreat cost is:
$425.00 (per person) for shared occupancy (when you sign up with a friend)
$600.00 for single occupancy
Thursday night extension: Add $187.00 (per person double occupancy) or $250.00 (single)

Alcoholic Beverages
New Hampshire state law requires that any alcoholic beverages to be consumed on the premises MUST be purchased through the inn.
