Town officials to host informational meeting on proposed budget for residents

An informational meeting on the proposed fiscal year 2009 Town of Windsor budget will be held Wednesday, April 2, 2008 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the Town Hall Council Chambers located at 275 Broad Street. The meeting will be hosted by Town Manager Peter Souza.

"Our goal is to provide an informal setting for residents to learn more about Windsor's budget process, the basics of formulating our budgets as well as the challenges faced when prioritizing budget allocations," Souza said. "The workshop will also include an opportunity for participants to contribute their thoughts and ideas, as well as ask any questions they may have regarding the preparation of the fiscal year 2009 budget."
