The Connecticut Department of Labor will offer free professional assistance with resumes, job hunting and interviewing tips at the Windsor Library from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Due to a malfunction with the "career bus" these services will be offered inside the library in the main meeting room. For more information call 285-1920.

The Connecticut Department of Labor Career Express Bus will be at the Windsor Public Library on Tuesday, June 9 from 10am-3:30pm. Career Express staff will provide job search assistance on a first-come, first-served basis. Jobseekers can conduct online job searches, learn about other job search resources and websites, or have their r sum critiqued by a Certified Professional R sum Writer. The staff will be available to answer your questions on job searches and interviewing basics.

Information will also be provided on the Department of Labor/CTWorks career centers and services. There are 14 CTWorks office centers located across the state, including one in Hartford at 3580 Main Street, and another at 620 Enfield Street, in Enfield. These centers offer many free programs for jobseekers including; access to computers, fax machines, copiers, and a wide array of classes and workshops. On June 9th look for the bright blue Career Express Bus in the Windsor Public Library parking lot, located at 323 Broad Street, Windsor. Call 285-1918 for more information.
